Biography and information

Student of the Academy of fine Arts from 1874 to 1878 he Received medals: 1875. - 2 silver and a small incentive; in 1877 - 1 silver; 1878 - 2 gold for the program: "Abraham banishes from the house of Agar with her son Ishmael"; in 1879, 1 gold medal for the program "the Adulteress before Christ" (Kondakov)

Born in Warsaw. Elementary art education in Warsaw drawing class. In 1874 – 1880 he studied at St. Petersburg Academy of arts. During his studies he received four silver and two gold medals (1878, 1879). He was awarded the title of the artist 1-St degree of historical painting (1879). In 1880 – 1884 –retired OH abroad. Participant of art exhibitions since 1882. From 1886 he taught at the Warsaw drawing class. In 1887 he held a solo exhibition in Warsaw. Author of religious, historical and genre paintings. Works are in the Museum of St. Petersburg Academy of arts, Odessa HMM, the museums of Poland and Germany.
