Painter, graphic artist. Studied in Studio of V. Meshkov in Moscow (1900-03) and in Munich (1904-06). Participant of exhibitions since 1902. Member of mtkh (1902-12). Lived and worked in Moscow, then in Leningrad. A member of the circle of the Argonauts. A close friend of A. Bely. Landscapes and thematic paintings (including "the Dance", 1903; "Twilight", 1904). Later I painted for Leningrad. well.""The new Robinson" (1923-24), was engaged in the book. graphics.
