Valentin
Ilyich Vorobiev

Was born in 1938. in Bryansk. Painter, graphic artist, author, abstract compositions. Studied in art Studio in Bryansk (1948), at art schools in Orjol and Kazan (1953-58), VGIK (1958-61). Worked as a drawing teacher in a school for mentally disabled children in Zvenigorod. In 1975 he emigrated to France, helped to organize exhibitions of Russian artists abroad. Participated in exhibitions in Russia, Europe and America. Solo exhibition took place in Gallerie Galliot, Paris, in 1978.

Sparrows is a consistent adherent of the abstract movement in painting. His compositions for chamber, calm and focused - in the early 60's has gained recognition in Europe. Works of the artist are in the collection of'odum, Dallas, USA; in the collections of the V. Rusanova, Moscow, K. and J. Bar-Gera, Cologne, Germany.
