Biography and information

Studied in MUZHVZ (1906-11) and OH (1911-12). From 1910, one of the organizers and participant in avant-garde art. exhibitions. From 1911 a member of the society "Union of youth", from 1912 of the group "Donkey's tail". Participant 1-St World war in the Russian expeditionary corps in France. In 1919-36 he lived in exile in Paris. From 1923 an active member of the hood. group "Through". Participant of group exhibitions, the designer of the owls. pavilion at the International exhibition (Paris, 1925). In 1936 he returned to Moscow, worked as Fig. kN. and designer of visual AIDS. Author of portraits, still lifes, landscapes, multi-figure allegorical compositions.
