Finished OHS. He studied at the Saint Petersburg landscape class ARTS (1890-1897). Received a small silver medal (1893) and the title of the artist for the painting "In the Carpathians" (1897). Member of the Board of the Society. A. Kuindzhi (1909), his President (1918). Taught at Strohanivka school (1892-1902), school of M. Tenishevoy (1902), Drawing school of TZM (1906-1914). From 1921 he lived in Poland.
