Biography and information

Author of illustrations to the works of A. green, tales of different peoples.

Honored artist of Russia.

He was born on 12 Oct 1949 in Astrakhan region. He graduated from the faculty of applied art of Moscow textile Institute (1983). A member of the artists Union of the USSR (Moscow Union of artists since 1986); the International art Fund; Authors and publicists International Associations (APIA). The winner of the national prize. Alexei Fatyanova, twice winner of artiade of the peoples of Russia. Full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and arts and the Academy of studying of problems of national security, separation of "Preservation of national cultural heritage."

The author of the murals of the pavilion "environmental Protection" and halls several national exhibitions on VDNH USSR (1975-78). Artistic Director of the opening ceremonies and closing of the Moscow Olympic games in Luzhniki (1979-80). The main artist of the "International Park of the arts" XII world festival of youth and students (Moscow, 1985). Art Director of many large-scale theatrical performances (1979-88). Worked on the painting of facades of houses in Bavaria (1998-00).

Illustrated books authors: A. green, A.,B. Strugatsky, M. Reid, P. Merimee, K. Paustovsky, Alexander Tvardovsky, A. Chekhov, Vladimir Isaychev; Tuvan folk tales, etc.

Since 1978 participant of more than 100 Moscow, all-Union and international trade exhibitions. Solo exhibitions: Russia, Denmark (1991), Germany (1993, 95, 97), Iceland, Luxembourg, Sweden (2003).

Works are in museums of Moscow, Tula, Petrozavodsk, Russia, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Tobolsk, Kurgan, Germany, world wide Fund for charity (Milan Dept.), cultural institutions, private collections in Russia and abroad.
