He studied at MGHI them. V. I. Surikov (1950-1956). Mochalskogo, V. Tsyplakova. Since 1952 Galitsky participated in art exhibitions. Worked in the genres of portraiture, still life and landscape. The artist's paintings are in the Tretyakov gallery, and collections in Russia, Germany and England.
