Victorovich Gerasimov

Honored Artist Of Russia. The student of the Russian Academy of Arts for a series of landscapes of Russia. In 1987 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (workshop of Professor Ilya Glazunov). In 1992-1997 he studied at the Creative workshops of the Russian Academy of Arts, people's Artists of the USSR, academicians A. P. and S. P. Tkachev. A great influence on the formation of Andrei Gerasimov's work as a painter had a creative work of I. I. Shishkin, whose diaries he deliberately studied at the Academy. Personal exhibitions of the artist took place in the exhibition hall "Manege" (1999) and in the Moscow Kremlin (2005). In 2005 Andrey Gerasimov became a member of a major exhibition "60 years of Victory" in the Central house of artists. In 2004 the publishing house "White city" was a book-album "Russian landscape", devoted to the work of A. Gerasimov.
