Martynovich Gluck

Born in Sighetu Marmatiei, Romania. Studied in 1931 – 1933 at the Higher school of fine arts in Budapest. The honored worker of arts of the USSR since 1963. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Wrote genre paintings, portraits and landscapes. Lived and worked in Uzhgorod. Works are in state Tretyakov gallery, the National art Museum of Ukraine, etc.

Born in the city of sighet (now in Romania). Initial art education has received in Budapest, HU (1927 – 1931) and in the Studio of I. a Seyne. In 1931 – 1933 he studied at the Budapest arts under I. Reith. The participant of Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1946. A member of the artists Union of the USSR from 1948. In 1956 he received the diploma of the Venetian exhibition, 1958 – the diploma and Large silver medal at the exhibition in Brussels. Solo exhibitions were held in Uzhgorod (1963), Kiev (1983), other cities of Ukraine (1963 – 1967). Lived and worked in Uzhgorod. Master of genre painting, a landscape painter, portraitist. Works are in state Tretyakov gallery, the namu, the Transcarpathian HMM they. I. bokshay, etc.
