Painter, graphic artist, poet. He graduated from hood. school in Penza. From 1914 he made a propaganda of futurism. The author of several SB-ing verses (1917-19). Participated in the civil. the war in the ranks of the Volunteer army. Emigrated in 1920, and from 1922 he lived in Berlin. The author of a series of graphic portraits of Russian emigration created in 1923-31 (including writer Ivan Lukash, poet E. Piotrovsky, writer Alexei Tolstoy, poet I. Severyanin, General A. Bogaevsky, chess E. Bogolyubov, Bishop Tikhon of Berlin, the choir's conductor Kazakov S. Zharov, writer V. Iracki, Professor I. Hesse), etc. works.
