The Soviet poster artist, a member of the artists ’union and the USSR Union of Journalists, a member of the blockade group of artists" Battle Pencil ", Honored Artist of the RSFSR.

In the years 1931-1936. studied at the Moscow Architectural Institute.

In the late 1930s. participated in the design of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition and the Soviet pavilion of the World Exhibition in Paris, as well as the streets of Leningrad for revolutionary holidays.

In the postwar years, he worked in the field of political and theatrical poster, collaborated with Lenizdat, with the publishing house "Art" and others.

In 1948-1961 performed posters for circuses, theaters and cinema.

Since 1958, he worked in the creative team of Leningrad artists and poets “Battle Pencil”.

Since the 1950s designed performances for the Lensoviet Theater, the Leningrad State Academic Small Opera and Ballet Theater, and other Leningrad theaters.

In 1965, Mr .. received a 2nd degree diploma at the All-Union competition "The Best Books of 1965" for the book by V. Razdolskaya "Mazerel".

In the 1980s performed posters on the theme of labor, theater posters. In 2003, he died in St. Petersburg, was buried in the Bolsheokhtikskoye cemetery.
