Biography and information

He studied at the art Academy from 1841 to 1848 (pensioner of the Cabinet of HIH) under the leadership of K. P. Bryullov . in 1843 he received 2 silver medal. In 1845 he received a gold medal for the expression in the film "Confessions of girls at a Catholic priest" (in the Rumyantsev Museum), in 1848 a gold medal for the painting "Christ blessing children" and the title of artist XIV class. In 1850, sent to the pensioner abroad and recognized as "designated". In 1854 an academician for the painting "the Pilgrim" and "Perspective view of the Alhambra". Died in 1868
