In 1938-1942 he studied at the Moscow State Art Institute under S. V. Gerasimov, B. V. Ioganson.

In 1943 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Soviet audiences the artist's name became known after the creation of paintings on historical-revolutionary theme: "Winter is taken" (1947), "Whirlwinds hostile" (1961), "For Soviet power" (1967).

Had a personal exhibition in Omsk (1963).

Works are represented in the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum.

Painter. In 1938-1942 he studied at the Moscow state art Institute under S. V. Gerasimov, B. V. Ioganson. Participant of exhibitions of 1936, a Member of the Union of artists since 1943, the Official recognition of thanks to his works on historical and revolutionary theme: "Winter is taken" (1947), "Whirlwinds hostile" (1961), "For Soviet power" (1967), and others. Personal exhibition took place in 1963 (Omsk). Works of the artist are in the Tretyakov gallery, the Russian Museum, in many regional museums. The Works Of N. N. Gorlova were sold at many international auctions.
