Was born on 19 February 1933 in Leningrad.

In 1957 Elena Gorokhova graduated from Ilya Repin Institute in the I. E. Repin, the workshop of Joseph Silver.

He studied of Vladimir Gorb, Semion Abugov.

Participant of exhibitions since 1958.

Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1960.

Wrote and composed genre compositions, landscapes, still lifes. Refers to motifs and images that are inspired by Russian folklore.
