In 1973 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk art College named. V. I. Surikov (workshop of A. F. Grachev).
In 1973-1978 he studied at the far Eastern Institute of Arts.
In 1989, admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Famous series of landscapes "On the Tver earth" and "Temples of the Russian Land".
Solo exhibitions were held in Tver (1985, 1997, 2003, 2006), Moscow (1998, 2001), Tolyatti (1998), Yaroslavl (2004), Bobruisk (2003), Minsk (2003), Paris (2004).
The artist's works are stored in Togliatti Picture Gallery, the National art Museum (Minsk, Belarus), Mogilev regional art Museum (Belarus) Bobruisk art Museum (Belarus).
