From 1952 to 1958 he studied at the Moscow state Institute. V. I. Surikov. His teachers were Vitaly Tsvirko, Petr pokarzhevskii, Victor Tsyplakov. Since 1958 member of major Russian and foreign exhibitions.
Solo exhibitions May Danzig has repeatedly held in Minsk and other Belarusian cities.
The artist's works are in the Tretyakov gallery, National art Museum of Belarus, in art and private collections in Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Italy, USA, etc.
