01.03.1912 was born in the village of Krapivino (Belarus).

He studied at the Vitebsk art College, graduated in 1930. From 1930 to 1934 he taught in a secondary school in Minsk. From 1934 to 1940 in the Repin Institute of arts in P. D. Buchkin, V. A. Serov, thesis – "the Decembrist Uprising", the head of I. I. Brodsky.

Member of the Union of artists since 1935.

Participant of exhibitions since 1932.

In 1940-1946 he lived in the far East. A member of the CPSU since 1943. From 1947 to 1952 he taught at the Leningrad art and graphic teacher training College. In the 1960s, participated in the restoration of the Catherine Palace in Pushkin.
