In 1973 — 1977 editor — in-chief of the publishing house “Khudozhnik RSFSR”, since 1976 - head of personal workshop at the Institute. I. E. Repin, and in 1984 he became Professor of painting Institute. I. E. Repin. In 1957 for the painting “October wind” was nominated for the Lenin prize and was awarded a Silver medal in Brussels world exhibition.
