Born October 25, 1935 in the village of lebyazh'e of Altai Krai.

He graduated from the Kazan art school.

Since 1956 worked with the Altai book publishing house and publishing house "Young guard", Moscow.

B. in Lebyazhye settlement (suburb of Barnaul). In 1951 he graduated from the Kazan art school. Collaborated with the Altai book publishing house, has illustrated 17 books for publishers "Young guard". Derevkovo fascinated work on illustrating books about the historical past of Russia ("Former" A. Semusheva, "Stepan Razin" by S. Zlobin, "I came to give you freedom" by V. Shukshin, "Mountain nest" N. Mamin-Sibiryak). Ostrovyrazitelnye sculpture illustrations for the works of the world. classics -- "the headless Horseman" by M. reed (1975), "White Fang" D.
