Born 4 September 1937. in the village of Semenceva Tver region. He graduated from Ivanovo art College.

Held 6 solo exhibitions in the city. Participated in exhibitions abroad: in Finland (1974. and 1977), Bulgaria (1994. and 1998), Italy (1996) Japan (1995.) England (1997).
