Biography and information
Was born in Tambov. Attended classes at the Academy of fine arts. For the painting "Interior view of the women's branch in St. Petersburg. the drawing school for an auditor," received from the Academy silver medal. In 1864, for "Portrait of Mr. Bulgakov's" received a second silver medal and the title of class artist third degree. Academic exhibitions were presented a few other works by E. N. Hillway. However, since 1876, mentions in print about the life and work of the artist disappear.
