Born in 1930 in the village Maryanskaya, Krasnodar territory. In his early childhood left an orphan, grew up in an orphanage. The great Patriotic war prevented to art education. He graduated from the special school. Prior to retirement he worked as a technician of the Telegraph.

Since 1973 he regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions. Work has been exhibited in Germany, France, Sweden, in 1984 at the International exhibition of naive art "INSITA" in Bratislava (Slovakia). Participant in a traveling exhibition of the Museum of naive iskusstva "Pushkin images in creativity of naive artists of Russia", exhibited in 1999 in nine cities of Russia and in Cannes (France) Palais des festivals. Since 1990 - member of the International Association "World of culture". Member of the International Federation of artists to UNESCO. Presented in the world encyclopedia of naive art (Belgrade, 1984). Works are in the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-reserve, State historical Museum, State Russian house of folk art, the Museum of naive art in Moscow, Museum-reserve "Tsaritsyno", private collections in Russia and abroad.
