People's artist of Russia (1986) and actions. member. Academy of Humanities (since 1994). B. in the village of Pokrovskoe, Manturovsky district of the Kursk region. He graduated from the Kursk art school (1956) and Kharkiv art Institute (1963). Since 1964 - lecturer of the art-graphic faculty of the Kursk state pedagogical Institute, Dean of faculty, Professor. 1984 - first personal art exhibition in Kursk, and in 1986 - first personal art exhibition in Moscow. The author of the paintings "Kursk beauties" (State Tretyakov gallery), "the Return of Ivan" (Museum of the Ministry of culture of the Soviet Union, reproduced on the postage stamp of the USSR), "holiday", "Solovetskiy", "Happiness", "Polyushko-field" and others (Kursk regional art gallery), a portrait gallery of the knights of the order of Alexander Nevsky etc., Many pictures are stored in E. the regional art galleries of Tambov, Krasnoyarsk, in Gorlovka art Museum, in private collections of Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, France, USA, Italy, Holland, Denmark. The author of the book of memoirs "my Life, my love," published in Kursk in 2004.
