He graduated from the Yaroslavl pedagogical College, in 1933 — kinootdelenie Art Institute at the Academy of arts in Leningrad. Art Director, decorator and prop maker for to/St "Sovkino" in Moscow (now the "Mosfilm"). Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
