Born in 1909 in the city of Tver in the family of a lawyer.

Graduated from the VKHUTEMAS and vkhutein, and the faculty of artistic design of fabrics Textile Institute in Moscow.

In 1953, he studied in the Studio of the eminent watercolourist Arthur Fonvizin and soon became one of his favorite students.

Also her teachers were A. Drevin, Udaltsova, T., K. Sobolev, S. Gorshkov.

C 1932 to 1985 the artist's works are constantly exhibited at all-Union and international exhibitions.

Alexandra Zabelina is a recognized master of the art of textiles, decorative fabrics, murals and tapestries.

She created hundreds of designs for scarves and fabrics, many of which were highly evaluated in Russia and abroad.

In 1958 the artist was awarded a gold medal at the world exhibition in Brussels. In the same year held a solo exhibition of Alexandra Zabelina in Moscow.

He died in 1993

Collection Zabelina are in museums and private collections of different countries.

In 2002 watercolors by Alexandra Zabelina was exhibited by the gallery "Les Oreades" in the hotel "Marco Polo Presnya" in Moscow.

In 2004 the annual summer exhibition "Summer in Oreades" Central house of artists gallery exhibited 15 artist's watercolors.

In the spring of 2005 in the gallery "Les Oreades" were presented 50 watercolors by Alexandra Zabelina.
