Studied in workers ' art studios N. Certina and V. Volkov (1925-1927), in the 30 years he worked as an artist at the film Studio "Soviet Belarus" (“Belarusfilm”).

Immediately after the liberation of Minsk was carried out for the Belarusian state Museum of the great Patriotic war, a series of portraits of guerrilla and guerrilla paintings on the subject.

Worked in the field of poster and book illustrations. Under his leadership, in 1945, was decorated with columns of the Belarusian sports delegation at the sports parade in the red square in Moscow.

Participated in the creation of propaganda posters BelTA in national competitions for the best political poster in book decoration of the Belarussian state publishing house.

Since the organization of the "Poster" And the Union of artists of the BSSR involved in their work. Major works: posters “long live the high Parchami!”(1954), “40 years of BSSR”(1959), “Rabochy, gonar, Berezy”, “Glory Valkama Kastrychnika!”(1960), “1945 - 1970”, “Daraji ganaram hlebarova!”(1963), "Rock, rock the young"(1961), and others; illustrations to the books "Third generation" K. Black(1939), "In Maskva" I. Shemyakin(1948), "the Nightingale" Z. Bidule(1955), , "With-tree" E. Moose(1961) and other Works are in the National art Museum. A member of BUA in 1964.
