From 1945 to 1950 he studied at MITHU S. V. Gerasimov, P. V. Kuznetsov, A.V. Kuprin. Participant of exhibitions from 1950 he participated in the design of pavilions VSHV. Solo exhibitions were held in Moscow (1979), Costa Rica (1974), Peru and Colombia (1976). A monumental work in the Olympic village in Moscow (USSR State prize, 1981).

Muralist. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

People's artist of the USSR, corresponding member AH the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR.

Honored artist of the RSFSR, Professor. From 1945 to 1950 he studied at MITHU S. V. Gerasimov, P. V. Kuznetsov, A.V. Kuprin.
