(1913-11-12) Diploma thesis in the CVC - "Brodsky in the workshop" evaluation - good. The training took place at the faculty of painting, awarded the title of artist of painting.

Born: 26 December 1913 in the village of Yurino. In 1932-1938, he studied at the Leningrad Academy of arts in the workshop of artist I. I. Brodsky. After graduation he lived and worked in Leningrad. In 50-ies of XX century moved to Azerbaijan, where he worked as a teacher in art school. At this time, a group of artists, he wrote a large canvas "the cotton state". Then he came to Moscow. Here in collaboration with the artist Yar-Kravchenko has created a multi-figure painting from the first Congress of Soviet writers called "the Responsibility on you." It shows a meeting of writers with Gorky. This painting is in permanent exhibition in the Literary Museum in Moscow.

In the 60's, he accepted the invitation of the Ministry of culture of the Mari ASSR and arrived in the city of Yoshkar-Ola. A. P. Zarubin was one of the organizers of the Union of artists of the Mari ASSR. The main works were created in the portrait genre. He created portraits of V. I. Lenin and N. K. Krupskaya, the outstanding figures of science and art, as well as portraits of composers Mari A. Y. Eshpai, I. S. Palantay (1960), people's artist of the Mari ASSR A. Tikhonova (1959), poet Vishnevsky S. A. (1961). Our countryman did not forget their homeland. Often and long he had been in Urine wrote yurinskiy landscapes of unique nature. Some of the paintings were donated to the Museum.
