Fedorovich Shalyapin

Son Of F. I. Shalyapin. He studied at the Mosk. Somase (1920-23) and at the sculpture faculty of the Mosk. VKhUTEMAS (1923-25). In 1925 went to France to see my father, he lived in Paris. Participant of exhibitions from 1927. In 1935 he moved with his father in the U.S. lived in new York. Follower of the realistic art. The author of portraits of F. I. Chaliapin (including roles), many figures of Russian art and culture. In 1968 he visited the Soviet Union.

The eldest son of Fyodor Chaliapin. In 1920-1923.g. he studied at the Moscow State free art workshops at D. N. Kardovsky A. E. Arkhipov and F. I. Zakharova. In 1925. continued studies in Paris. OTDELA preference to the portrait. Executed the portraits of S. V. Rachmaninoff, K. Pfarrer, K. A. Korovin, p. P. Trubetskoy. In the 1930-ies he worked as a theatre designer. From 1925 he lived in Paris from 1935 in USA.
