Andreevich Zeberin

Latvia • 1882−1969

He studied in the Studio of J. Rozentals in Riga (1905 – 06), the school of the society for encouragement of arts in Petrograd (1914 – 15). In 1925 he graduated from the workshop of Figurative painting of J. R. Tillbergs at the Latvian Academy of arts.

The artist painted in oil technique in General, the types of rural life on a small scale, landscapes in a realistic manner. He left a pretty wide artistic heritage. It is inherent in a humorous, optimistic view of the image.

I. Zeberinsh he also worked in illustratie books, drew cartoons in magazines of his time.
