Author of portraits, fantastic landscapes, allegorical paintings. Was born in Moscow. In 1908 he settled in Paris. From 1909 he exhibited in the salons: Independent and Autumn the field of Mars. In early 1910-s participated in the St. Petersburg and Moscow exhibitions. Was under the influence of "World of art". In 1912 he exhibited at the salon d'automne. In 1914 the Cabinet of prints of the Rumyantsev Museum in Moscow purchased two of the artist's work. In 1914 – 1919 fought as a volunteer in the Franco-German front, where he performed military sketches. In late 1910 – early 1920's he worked for the Parisian and American fashion magazines. Designed the interiors of cabarets and music halls "Ambasador", "Foley Berger", "Casino de Paris". In 1925 he held a solo exhibition in the gallery on the Rue Boétie, in 1933 – in the gallery "Au Portique". Collaborated with the theater "die Fledermaus" N. Baliyeva (1927). In 1937 he participated in the decoration of the Palais de Chaillot for the universal exhibition in Paris. In the 1930 – 1940s played wall panels for luxury Paris apartments and estates.
