From 1919 to 1925 he studied at the art school at the 1 St Exemplary printing house in Moscow, S. V. Gerasimov, I. N. Pavlova. Participant of exhibitions since 1942. Drawing for the newspaper "Young Leninist" (1925), magazines "the mosquito" (1925-1927), "Murzilka", "Sparks", "dawn" 1927-1934), "Fun" (1961-1964). Illustrates and designs books for publishers "working paper", "Young Guard", "Kid". In the 1930-1940е years working in the field of poster. In 1944-1951 he is the artist of the Studio "Soyuzmultfilm".
