He graduated from the Ryazan art.-PED. College (1936). Participated in exhibitions since 1928. In 1936-70 worked as an artist-restorer of the Tretyakov gallery. Author of landscapes, genre and landscape paintings "Pioneers in the forest" (1965), "Winter. Frost" (1969), "Industrial landscape" (1975), "Forest track" (1979), "Spring is coming" (1980) and other works.
