Biography and information

Born in the village of Droskovo Orel province in 1892, Died in Moscow in 1966.

In the 1910-1917 years. Sofronova studied at Moscow art school of F. I. Rerberg and I. Mashkov's Studio. In 1914 she participated in the exhibition "Jack of diamonds". In 1920-1921 he taught at the State free art studios in Tver, at the same time I was into constructivism. Back in Moscow, she again started working with nature, first in the chart, and then in painting. Its theme are almost always deserted cityscapes. Sofronova was part of the group "Thirteen", participated in exhibitions of group and after its dissolution in 1932, continued to work in the same manner dynamic picturesque figure. Creativity Sofronova became widely known only after her death.
