Honored art worker of the RSFSR, Professor. An artist easel, master of book design, he worked in the art woodcuts and linocuts was Born in 1901 in Moscow, died in 1976. Studied in 1918-1920 Sytinskiy in art school under S. V. Gerasimov, I. N. Pavlova. Participant of art exhibitions since 1920. Major works: illustrations and book design in the 1930-ies: "the Letters of Rubens," the "Utopia" of T. Moore. "Eulogy of folly" by E. Rotterdam, "Serf theatre", "Song of the First French revolution", "Eugene pottier". Making the series "Mass library" (1947-1950), "Frontline sketches" (1945), "Portraits of V. I. Lenin" (1945-1951), albums: "the Moscow Kremlin" (1946-1948), "Vyborg" (1967), images of "old Russian cities" (1960-ies).
