In the 1930-ies performed a series of film posters. Designed movies: "Yakov Sverdlov" (1940), "Dream", "Two soldiers" (both 1943), and others.

Worked as an artist at the Kiev, Odessa film studios, on/St "Mezhrabpomfilm" and "Mosfilm". Artistic Director of over thirty films. 1954 — Director of "Mosfilm.
