1907 - born in St. Petersburg.

1927-1931 - study in Vhuteine in Moscow Institute of fine arts in L. Bruni, S. Gerasimov, D. moor, tips, latest used also later.

1920s - the beginning of work in the area of the poster.

1930s-1980s he has worked in the Newspapers "Pravda", "Komsomolskaya Pravda", "Izvestia", "industrialization"; in the magazine "30 days", "Growth", "Foreign literature", "Youth", "Ogonyok" (received numerous award for best picture of the year). The author of the propaganda posters on topical issues of his time - anti-bourgeois, anti-religious, anti-fascist, posters on the theme of socialist labor and sports. Illustrates and designs books for military publishing, publishing houses "Young guard", "Soviet writer", "Truth" and others. Works in easel graphics - portraits, landscapes, drawings made with ink, brush, gouache, watercolor, pencil.

1941-1945 - being in war, takes the number of front-line sketches and drawings.

From 1944 works in the Studio of military artists named after M. Grekov.

1940-1950 - draws postage stamps and stamped envelopes.

1967 - Honored artist of the RSFSR.

He died in Moscow in 1998.
