Born в1902 year in Petrozavodsk. Local artist of the Karelian theme. In 1919 - 1921 studied at the art - industrial workshops of Petrozavodsk, then the trip to Petrograd VKhUTEMAS artists - realists. He graduated in 1926. He lived in Leningrad, where he made drawings for Newspapers, designed themes, led working art circles. In 1930-31 the years for the Karelian publishing house painted portraits of civil war heroes and the landscapes of the places where the fighting took place. Since 1933, participated in exhibitions, he painted on the themes connected with Karelia.
The trip of the Leningrad Union of artists went to the construction of the white sea - Baltic canal ( the USSR's first mass correctional labor camp), where he created a series of paintings and drawings "Belomorkanal", which was shown at the exhibition "industry of socialism".
Karablin was one of the organizers of the Karelian Union of Soviet artists. In 1939 - 1940 he designed the pavilion of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet socialist Republic all-Union agricultural exhibition.
Died in 1968 in Leningrad.
