Biography and information

He graduated from Krasnodar art College in 1960. His creative work he began as an artist-Illustrator, working in book publishing: Maykop, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Baku. Dozens of art books designed by the artist in these publishing houses. In Dagestan book publishing house he has three times received the diploma for the design of textbooks. Since 1967 G. Kirichenko works by the artist in Adyghe artistic production workshops of the artistic Fund of the RSFSR. 1968-Yuri Georgievich is actively involved in provincial, regional, zonal, Republican and international exhibitions.

His reporter's keen eye captures live skits, seen in various places: tea house, the Bazaar, in the village street. In the artist's stern look of the Caucasian of the village gives way to jubilant Russian town of Zagorsk, and sun-drenched Central Asian mosque tragic images of destitute.

The artist works in watercolors, etchings, often uses Italian pencil, marker. Vividly etching technique in the works of Dagestan series that recreates the harsh atmosphere of the mountain villages, the heroic and the ascetic spirit of the mountaineers. Since 1977, J. G. Kirichenko is a member of the Union of artists and Union of artists of Russia.

Currently, Yuri G. Kirichenko interested in experiments in the field of watercolor techniques. The colors become more refined, less in detail, it aims to create a complex condition.
