Biography and information

Born in the village of Kalinka Vinnytsia region. She studied in 1903 – 1909 in Lavra icon workshop, in 1911 – 1915 – in the Khu (V. MENCK, A. Murashko), in 1915 – 1917 – at the St. Petersburg Academy of arts (with V. Makovsky), in 1925 – 1927 – KHI (at F. Krichevsky). In 1900 – 1910 participated in the decoration of churches in Kiev and Yekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk). For a long time worked together with I. Izhakevich. In his works he continued the traditions of Ukrainian artists of the late XIX – early XX centuries, a member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Lived and worked in Kiev.
