Konstantinovich Korovin

Son of the famous artist Konstantin Korovin and Anna Fiedler — the girl in a private Opera of S. I. Mamontov. He received his artistic education under his father's direction. Studied at the gymnasium in Moscow. At an early age was familiar with the theatrical-decorative art. In 1918 he became a member of the "World of art", participated in exhibitions of the Association in 1918 and 1921. In 1920, he exposed his works at the exhibition of the XIX all-Russian Central exhibition Bureau of the Department of fine arts of Narkompros in Moscow.

In 1923, together with his parents emigrated to France, lived in Paris. In the 1920s he worked as a designer in a variety of cabaret work as a stage designer under the guidance of his father. In particular, has created costumes and scenery for the Opera N. Rimsky-Korsakov's "the legend of the invisible city of Kitezh and the maiden Fevroniya" for the private Opera of M. N. Kuznetsova (production carried out in 1929 at the théâtre des Champs-elysées in Paris). Painted the landscapes in and around Paris.

Alexey Korovin-in a lifetime was influenced by the work of his father, sought to imitate his manner. His works are in several Museum collections, including the State Tretyakov gallery, the Russian cultural-historical Museum in Prague, as well as in many private collections
