Gennady
Georgievich Korolev

(1913, Noginsk – 1995, Moscow)

Honored artist of the RSFSR. People's artist of the Russian Federation (1994).

Ph. D., Professor (1965).

In 1945 he graduated from the Moscow art Institute. V. I. Surikov. Studied with S. V. Gerasimov, V. V. Pochitalova, N. X. Maximov.

In 1950 he graduated from graduate school with a scientific degree of candidate of art criticism.

He taught at the Moscow state art Institute im. V. I. Surikov, was the assistant at DK Mochalskogo.

In 1952 he was awarded the title of associate Professor, in 1965 the title of Professor.

Lived and worked in Moscow. Wrote in the genres of landscape, portrait, genre paintings.

Participant of exhibitions "all-Union art exhibition" (Moscow, 1946),

"Soviet Russia" (Moscow, 1960).

Painting G. Queen are now in the art museums of Kuibyshev, Saratov, Yugoslavia, Greece, and also in private collections in France, Korea, Japan, USA, Germany.
