Nikolay
Vasilyevich Krichevsky

Ukraine • 1898−1961

Born in Kharkiv, son of V. G. Krichevsky, nephew of F. G. Krichevsky. He received his General education in Kiev. In 1919 went to the theatre M. Sadowski Czechoslovakia. In 1928 in Prague he graduated from the art industrial and decorative school. In 1929 he moved to Paris. Created illustrations for "Taras Bulba" by N. Gogol. Participated in exhibitions in Lviv, Paris, Warsaw, Prague, Brussels, Rome.
