Corresponding member of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and arts. Born in 1939 in the city of Galich, Kostroma region. In 1962 he graduated from Leningrad engineering – construction Institute. In 1969 – the Leningrad Higher art school named. Mukhina.

Participated in over 200 collective and eight personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Works are in various museums in 35 countries, including the Russian Museum and the Hermitage. Member of the Presidium of the Union of artists of St. Petersburg, member of the graphics Committee of the Union of artists of Russia, Chairman of the graphics section.

Professor, head. the Department of the Baltic Institute of ecology, Economics and law.

Awarded the medals "Veteran of labour", "300 years of Russian fleet", the "Admiral Kuznetsov". Knight of the order "sovereign Russia".

Visited the two poles of the Earth.
