Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

He graduated from art-industrial school in Pervomaysky porcelain factory (1952). Works in various genres: historical, epic, portrait, lyric-home, icon-painting miniature landscape. Excellent master of composition. Since 1970 participates in regional, all-Russian, all-Union and international exhibitions. Member of artists Union of Russia (1975). Laureate of the State prize of the RSFSR. I. E. Repina (1985), Honored artist of Russia (1999). Works are in Vologda art Museum, the Russian Museum of decorative-applied and folk art (Moscow), state Museum "Rostov Kremlin", the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), Museum of the factory "Rostov enamel", the Armory gikmz "Moscow Kremlin", the Rybinsk Museum-reserve, Yaroslavl Museum-preserve, Yaroslavl art Museum and in private domestic and foreign collections.
