Description of the artwork «For a walk»
Purchased by the museum from the author in 1993.
The painting "For a Walk" was painted by Pavel Leonov in 1991. The artist created an ideal world in this work: he presents his native village as a model settlement with fountains and alleys, where beautiful happy people work in the fields, do sports, walk, sing. In this world there is naive harmony between nature and man, labor is perceived as a holiday and "the coming tomorrow will be as radiant as the past yesterday".
