Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
He studied in the Studio of E. Binet, 1931 – 42 years – in the workshop the species of painting of V. Purvitis at the Latvian Academy of arts, which he graduated with thesis "Riga in the winter."
She worked as a teacher in Riga city Board of Education (1936 – 38), the Biological Institute of the Academy of Sciences, artist at the Institute of Geology and geography of the Academy of Sciences, a teacher in the children's sanatorium Krimulda, konsultantka painting Studio in the people's house E. melngaila, led summer camps and workshops.
In 1941 – 44 years, M Linkrusta – Lalande was a member of the cooperative Art. Since 1959 she is a member of the Union of artists.
In exhibitions the artist participated in 1937.
Personal exhibitions are organized in Riga (1972, 1981, 1982, 1987, 1989), Cesvaine (1972, 1976), cēsis (1972), Riga (1972, 1976), Roll (1974, together with A. and B. Artusa Della), Ogre, Sigulda (1981), Mazsalaca, Valmiera, Rouen (1982), Gulbene (1983), Stuchka, Koknese (1988), Dale (1989), Paris (1993).
