Was born in the village Rinks in Kirov region. Wife N. P.Lopatina. Member of the Union of artists of Russian Federation since 1982. In 1963-1968 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - N.M.Zinoviev, B. M. Nemtinov, V. T. Kotov. In the years 1968-1989 he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops.
Was engaged in monumental painting. Themes of works: folklore, genre scenes, religious. Participant of exhibitions since the 1970s.Work N.P.Lopatina stored in museums: gmpi, Umgeni, HF Russia.
