Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Born in 1931, at the station Panduga Konosha district of the Arkhangelsk region. From 1958 to 1965 he studied at the Kharkov art Institute. Since 1970 member of the Union of artists of Russia. 1958-participant of city, regional, zonal exhibitions

Education: Art Studio of the Palace of culture of railwaymen (Vologda). The Yaroslavl art school. Faculty of painting of the Kharkov art Institute (1958-1965).

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. After graduation he was sent to Cheboksary, where for several years Boris Matveyevich taught drawing and painting at the art-graphic faculty of the Chuvash pedagogical Institute and worked as a designer at the art Fund. In 1977, the artist returned to Vologda, where, in addition to their own creativity, much engaged in the artistic production workshops on the design of enterprises of the Vologda region. Dominant place in Makarov's work is landscape. Landscapes Makarov is almost always deserted, he was left alone with nature, in complete harmony with their feelings and thoughts. The artist avoids unnecessary details, writes large, expressive strokes.
