Laureate of Nizhny Novgorod award(2003). Honored artist of Russia (1980). Born in Nizhny Novgorod. Graduated, finished the art school (1945-1949) and cinematography (1949-1955). Working in the field of genre paintings, portraiture and landscape genres. The author of a number of paintings on the theme of the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945.g.

The author of the monument "In memory of the heroes of the 1905 revolution"(Sormovo, 1977). Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1957. Since 1955 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1964, 1967, 1970, 1974, 1980, 1998, 2003), all-Union (Moscow, 1957), national (Moscow,1999) art exhibitions.

Solo exhibitions: g. Gorky, N. Novgorod, 1963, 1970, 1972, 1978, 1998. He taught at the finished the art school (1980-1985). Chairman of the Board of GOSH of the Russian Federation (1971-1974).
